BEd counselling continues

KANPUR: The BEd counselling entered the eigth day on Thursday. Around 10,000 candidates had locked their seats of their choice across the state so far.

The counselling started late. The candidates could get the chance for filling the choice of colleges only at 12 pm. The counselling was to begin at 9 am. It got delayed by a couple of hours.

There are roughly 1 lakh seats in 971 colleges across the state. As the first phase of counselling is to continue till July 27, it is expected that a large chunk of the remaining seats would be locked by the aspirants in the days to come.

Around 289 candidates had filled the choice of the college, of 315 who had registered themselves on Thursday in the five centres in the city. The counselling was going on when this report was filed.
