INTERNET PROBLEM SOLVING ONLINE CONTEST 2010

Online Internet Problem Solving Contest 2010

Introduction: The Internet Problem Solving Contest (IPSC) is an online contest for teams consisting of up to three people. Several problems will be published at the beginning of the competition. Each problem consists of a problem description and two input data sets. To solve a problem you will have to compute correct output data for the given input data sets. Usually this means that you will write a program that solves the problem, but you may produce the output by hand or in any other way.

Eligibility:
The Contest is open to everyone except for the Organizers. The Contest is void in Quebec and where prohibited by law. In order to be eligible to win a monetary prize, a team must satisfy the following criteria:
* All team members must be at least 18 years of age on the day of the Contest.
* No team member may be a current employee, intern, or contractor of any contest sponsor or its subsidiaries and affiliates (”Sponsor Employee”).
* No team member may be an immediate family member (i.e., a spouse, a parent, a child, or a sibling) of any Organizer or Sponsor Employee.
* No team member may be living in the same household as an Organizer or a Sponsor Employee.
* No team member may be restricted by applicable US export controls and sanctions programs. In particular, this applies to all residents of Iran, Cuba, North Korea, Sudan and Syria. It is mandatory to inform the Organizers about your eligibility status in case you should receive a monetary prize according to your placement in the Contest. In case of a dispute the Organizers reserve the right to verify eligibility and their decision is final. Upon winning a monetary prize, any duties and taxes (if applicable) are the sole responsibility of the recipients.
