UK – Sheffield Hallam University – International Achievement scholarships
Introduction: Our International Achievement Scholarships programme is open to students from any non-EU country applying to study at Sheffield Hallam University who will be enrolling in 2009/10. All full-time undergraduate and postgraduate taught courses are taking part in the programme.
Awards: The scholarships, worth between £1000 and £4000 will be awarded to well-qualified students who demonstrate academic, personal or professional achievement in the personal statement on their scholarship application form. Successful applicants will be awarded with a cheque and a certificate to mark their achievement at a Prize-winners Reception. This scholarship is not a reduction in fees.
Eligibility: To be eligible to apply for a postgraduate scholarship you must
Be classed as an international student for fees purpose
Have a good undergraduate degree
Have, or expect to achieve, a minimum of IELTS 6.0 or equivalent
Be enrolling on a course with Sheffield Hallam University starting in 2009/10 academic year.
Be able to evidence achievement in your personal statement.
Have submitted your application and/or been given a conditional/unconditional offer.
How To Apply: How to apply for the International Achievement Scholarship: Applications for the International Achievement Scholarship should be made with, or following, an application for a taught course at Sheffield Hallam University, using the form available below. Scholarship applications for courses starting in January 2010, must be submitted by 30th November 2009.
