3rd INTERNATIONAL CONGRESS 2009 – MUMBAI

3rd International Congress on Computational Mechanics and Simulation, Mumbai

Introduction: The Indian Association for Computational Mechanics (IndACM) was founded on 1 January 2000 to bring together the computational mechanics community to have meaningful interactions to further the growth of computational mechanics. The 1st and the 2nd congresses were held very successfully at IITK and IITG, respectively. The 3rd International Congress on Computational Mechanics and Simulation (ICCMS-09) is being organized at IIT Bombay, Mumbai, India, on 1-5 December 2009. The purpose of the Mumbai Congress is to provide a forum for scientists, engineers and designers in universities, laboratories and industry to share their research findings to further the cause of computational mechanics.

About ICCMS: The advances in computational mechanics have transformed the way problems in engineering and science are tackled today. Problems in mechanics of solids, structure-fluid interaction and their scientific disciplines are investigated through computational mechanics and implemented in engineering design and manufacturing. Computational mechanics has emerged as a key area of research and application.
The Indian Association for Computational Mechanics (IndACM) was founded on 1 January 2000 to bring together this community to have meaningful interaction to further the growth of computational mechanics in different disciplines. The 1st and the 2nd congresses were held very successfully at IITK and IITG, respectively. To achieve this objective the Third International Congress on Computational Mechanics and Simulation (ICCMS-09) is being organized at the Indian Institute of Technology Bombay, India (IITB) on 1-5 December 2009. The purpose of the Congress is to provide a forum for scientists, engineers and designers in universities, laboratories and industry to share their research findings to further the cause of computational mechanics.

Call For Papers: A 1-page abstract (A-4 size paper with one inch margin on each side, about 300 words, Arial Narrow, 10pt) on the related themes are invited through e-mail as attachment (MSWordfile.doc) to: iccms09@civil.iitb.ac.in

Registration: The registration fee includes registration for all technical programmes, and all morning and afternoon tea/coffee, lunches and banquet dinner during the conference. It will also include any official programmes that will be arranged.
