Lucknow, Aug 20 (PTI) In a bid to overcome shortage of teachers and doctors in state medical colleges, Uttar Pradesh government today decided to appoint teachers/doctors on contract basis in these colleges.
"The objective of appointment of teachers/doctors on contract in medical college is to ensure health care services and also to maintain quality of education," secretary Medical Education, Harbhajan Singh said.
Singh said that necessary direction in this regard had been sent to the concerned principals.
