Eligibility :
B.Tech. or an equivalent degree in the allied branch of Engineering with a minimum of 55% marks from a recognized University OR MCA or M.Sc. degree in a related branch with 60% or higher aggregate marks from a recognized University.
NOTE: AMIE / AMIETE graduates including graduates from other Govt. recognized professional bodies’ equivalent to AMIE with 50 % or above are also eligible with the condition that the branch adopted at graduation level must be the same as the specialization applied for. (Candidates with B.E./B.Tech. in any branch of Engineering, M.Sc.(Electronics), M.Sc.(Phy.), M.Sc.(Maths). BDS, MBBS or equivalent may be required to pass audit courses of maximum 6 credits in addition to regular courses.)*

Career Prospects:
The world over, post graduate studies are a normal part of basic engineering education. The time has come when post graduation has become a mandatory recruitment for various positions in Industry, R&D organizations and Govt. sectors.
Engineering education is one sector where AICTE has already prescribed M.Tech. as the minimum qualification for a Lecturer. However, existing teachers with B.Tech qualification are allowed a time of 5 years to complete their PG qualification.

Admission Application Form
The University offers M.Tech. program in Residential and Week-end delivery mode.
Applications are invited for M.Tech. (Week-end) programs to be started from August 2009.
M.Tech. (Week-end): It's a regular four-semester course specially run by the University for working teachers, persons employed in Industry or Research and Development Organizations, who have a 5-day working week. The program consists of three semesters of coursework in the University campus and one semester of dissertation/ project work in the University or in the Industry/ Institution/ R&D Organization. Number of contact hours in each subject will be the same as that of Residential M.Tech. course. A candidate shall normally be required to submit a no objection certificate from his/her employer for this course.
Admission Procedure:
Admission is based on the Academic Merit and Interview / Group Discussion.
Candidates with valid GATE Score are given preference.
Candidates with teaching experience would be preferred.
The University reserves the right to withhold / withdraw any offered program, if minimum stipulated number of candidates are not selected.
