Youth Excellence Award-2008

On 26^th April 2008, in a glittering function at Rajendra Bhawan in Delhi, Mr. Kamal Kumar, Director of LBIIHM in Delhi, was awarded “Youth Excellence Award-2008” for contribution in the field of education.

Mr. Kamal Kumar is one of the Founder Directors of LBIIHM. CSR Survey 2008 lists LBIIHM as the Second Best Hotel Management Institute in Delhi. LBIIHM was awarded the "Best Hospitality Education Centre" for 2005 by Consumers' Forum, New Delhi. In 2006, it was awarded "Nayak Bhartee Rashtriya Samman" for contribution in the field of Hospitality Education. In 2007, it has been awarded "Gurukul Jyoti Award 2006" for one of the 5 best Hotel Management Institutes in India.

Lok Sabha MP Sri Ram Das Athawale and AICC Secretary Ms Alka Lamba gave away the Award to him. Mr. Kamal Kumar was one of the 4 persons to be awarded for contribution in the field of education.

According to Mr. Kamal Kumar, “This Award is for all our staff and students who make things happen. With their support, nothing is impossible.”

It offers 3 yrs BSc in Hotel Management as well as 2 yrs MSc in Hotel Management. It is affiliated with Punjab Technical University and IASE University, Rajasthan. Its courses are recognized by the UGC and Ministry of HRD, Government of India.
