TERI inks MoU with Hyderabad University

Hyderabad: A Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) has been inked between The Energy and Resources Institute (TERI) and University of Hyderabad (UoH) for academic and research collaboration on Tuesday here.

The MoU was signed in the presence of Y. S. Rajasekhara Reddy, Chief Minister Andhra Pradesh.

40 acres of land has been allocated to the TERI within the campus of the UoH. In addition to promote joint research projects, both the institutions will work together to provide high class training in research and development to all the deserving students.

TERI is an independent, not for profit research institute promote access to education at all levels for students of all ages and backgrounds. The institute also promotes sustainable use of natural resources.

TERI has its global presence including North America and Europe and in Japan, Malaysia and Gulf.

It had been promoting awareness of environmental damage and degradation of natural resources and working towards finding solutions to these problems by promoting technologies, policies and institutions for sustainable use of natural resources.
