New Delhi: A Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) has been signed between the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) and Guru Jambheshwar University Of Science And Technology (GJUS&T), Hisar.
The MoU has been signed with an aim to democratise education, disseminate knowledge through novel techniques and methodologies for the benefit of large sections of society, specially the weaker and disadvantaged groups of the society.
This MOU would enable the CA students and members to get BBA, MBA and Ph.D degrees from the university.
The course has been jointly designed by the ICAI and Guru Jambheshwar University of Science & Technology (GJUS&T) keeping in view the current challenging professional scenario as a result of rampantly changing global situation.
A student admitted in the first stage of Chartered Accountancy after passing 10+2 standard examination and entry level test of the Chartered Accountancy shall be admitted to special BBA degree Course.
Also, a student admitted in the final stage of chartered accountancy shall be admitted to special MBA degree Course.
To promote research in the area of Commerce and Management, a candidate who has passed final examination of the Chartered Accountancy Course of ICAI shall be eligible to get registered for Ph.D course with the HSB, GJUS&T.
This is a unique and landmark achievement in the field of accounting and management in India.
