New Delhi: A website viz. www.pmtgurumantra.wordpress.com has been designed by the undergraduate medical students across several top-rung medical colleges in the Capital. The main aim of this website is to provide tips to aspiring medical students on how to crack the All India Pre-Medical Test (AIPMT).
Rahul Chawla, a third year MBBS student and the brain behind the idea said that he was a topper from a small town in Madhya Pradesh. He had many options but no one to guide him. That is the reason he thought of doing something to help youngsters.
At least one student from each medical college across the country will be included in the group, to give aspiring medical students an opportunity to interact with toppers of various national and state-level medical entrance examinations.
Apart from that the website also provides previous years' papers, examination notifications and admission counseling and answers most frequently asked questions by the students.
Most of the faculty members are however of the view that such websites can help only up till a point.
